Hami keeps faith with status quo

The man at the helm may be new, but the squad is very much as they were after Hami Mandıralı named his party for Turkey's Group 2 fixture against Armenia.

Senior presence
Trabzonspor legend Hami has assumed control from Ümit Davala over the summer and will be looking to pick up where his predecessor left off in Group 2. Turkey are unbeaten after five games, and can move above the Czech Republic to the summit with victory in Yerevan so Hami has decided to show faith with the players that have brought the side this far. Uğur Uçar, Mehmet Güven, Aydın Yılmaz, Aydın Karabulut and Batuhan Karadeniz are all sidelined, but the squad may be boosted by the presence of the senior team's assistant coach Müfit Erkasap, who will travel with them with an eye on Turkey's 2010 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Armenia on 6 September.
