Williams injured
Arsenal FC midfielder Aaron Ramsey is included but coach Brian Flynn has not named Wayne Hennessey, Chris Gunter, Gareth Bale, Joe Ledley, Ched Evans and Sam Vokes who are all expected to feature in the senior squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Germany. Joe Jacobson and Jack Collison return after injury but Wales are missing Middlesbrough FC central defender Rhys Williams who has damaged knee ligaments. It was Williams' early volley in Iasi that put Wales on the path to a 3-0 victory over Romania on 9 September which meant they finished top of Group 10.

Cardiff date
Flynn said: "People over here disregarded our chances in Romania. We had to go there to win because a draw was not good enough. Romania hadn't lost for 18 games so it shows we are capable of upsetting the odds, that's for certain." Wales face England at Ninian Park, Cardiff, on 10 October with the return at Villa Park, Birmingham, on 14 October. The senior internationals take place on the following days, 11 and 15 October.
