Dutch referee Bjorn Kuipers will take charge of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship final between Germany and England in Malmo.

Officiating team
Kuipers, who has already overseen the Spain-England and Finland-Spain games from Group B, will referee his third match of the tournament at the Malmö New Stadium on Monday evening. The 36-year-old will be assisted by assistant referees Joël De Bruyn and György Ring, with Pedro Proença the fourth official.

High-profile appointments
For the supermarket director from the town of Oldenzaal in the Netherlands, the appointment continues the progress he has made since being assigned fourth-official duties at the U21 tournament in 2007. He refereed five games in the UEFA Cup last season, having been the fourth official in five qualifying matches for UEFA EURO 2008™. Kuipers also took charge of the UEFA European U17 Championship final in 2006 between Czech Republic and Russia.
