The UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off lineup is complete following the conclusion of the qualifying group stage.

All ten sections drew to a close on Monday, with Sweden, Serbia, Russia and England joining the Czech Republic, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy as group winners. The remaining play-off entrants are the four runners-up with the best record against the teams first, third, fourth and fifth in their pools.

Switzerland, in Group 5, recorded the highest tally of 17 points, having beaten Estonia 3-0 in their final fixture. Norway and Denmark both finished on 16 points. The final nation through are Slovakia, one of four sides to amass 15 points, who go through by virtue of their superior goal difference – boosted by a 6-0 triumph over Kazakhstan on Monday.

The play-off draw takes place in Nyon at 14.00CET on Friday, with ties to be played between 12 and 16 October. The seven play-off winners will join hosts Israel in next summer's final tournament.
