Serbia and Spain end goalless

Serbia and Spain will go into Tuesday's UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-off second leg level after a goalless game in Jagodina.

Spain, boasting several of the squad that won a second straight title last year in Israel, slightly edged the play but there were few clear chances on either side. Most of the game was contested in midfield in what proved a competitive encounter, with all left to play for in Cadiz next week.
