Polish Football Association (PZPN) president Zbigniew Boniek has been formally handed the keys to the 106-vehicle Hyundai Motor fleet which will be used at the UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
The official tournament partner's vehicles will transport teams, referees, match officials, delegates and VIP guests across the six Polish host cities over the course of the tournament. "Hyundai Motor has partnered with the U21 EURO competitions for years now and has become a valued ally," said Boniek. "I am glad that this year, we can travel in the comfort of the newest models from Hyundai Motor. I thank Hyundai Motor for providing us with such comfortable transport."
Hyundai Motor's director of overseas marketing Scott Noh added: "It is our pleasure to present this fleet of 106 Hyundai Motor cars to help with the efficient running of the U21 EURO. This is a unique event because we expect to see the most talented young footballers play on a global stage as they dream of becoming football stars of the future. As the tournament progresses, we are sure that the versatility of the Hyundai models will become clear."
