Slovenia completed a 5-0 success against Andorra for the second time in Group 2 with Mitja Lotrič scoring twice against the visitors, who ended with ten men.

After May's victory in Andorra la Vella, Robert Englaro's men repeated the trick after being set on their way by Haris Vučkič in the 18th minute. Carlos Gomes saw red for the visitors on the stroke of half-time and the hosts punished Justo Ruiz's side, Elvis Bratanovič and Petar Stojanovič adding to the score before Lotrič's late pair.

There was an early warning for Andorra when Luka Krajnc's header was tipped onto the bar but the opener did not take long in coming as Lotrič sprinted into the box, crossing for Vučkič to slip in the first.

Erik Janža struck the crossbar for the home side before Gomes left his side up against it after being shown a red card for a challenge on Rudi Vancaš Požeg in first-half added time.

Vancaš Požeg set up Bratanovič to head the second with 55 minutes gone, before Stojanovič finished after a good run down the right. Lotrič turned in a rebound for his first after 82 minutes, and six mintues later he rounded off the scoring with an easy tap in. Slovenia finish off their campaign with a trip to Estonia on 8 September, while Andorra end in Russia a day later.
