Munas Dabbur hit a hat-trick as Israel recorded their third victory in four 2015 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers.

A month after Dabbur was on target as the 2013 finals hosts beat the Nordic side in Drammen, Michael Nees's team completed the double over their Group 8 rivals, with the Maccabi Tel-Aviv FC forward the inspiration.

His first goal arrived eight minutes before half-time when he applied the finishing touch to Eliazer Dasa's delivery. Israel's second also came from the right flank and again Dasa was the provider. The captain's ball eluded the Norway defence but not Dabbur, who scored with ease.

The visitors' hopes were raised by substitute Amir Ben Shimon's own goal seven minutes from time, but within 60 seconds Dabbur completed his treble with a shot from outside the area. Thomas Grøgaard prevented the 21-year-old getting his fourth two minutes from time only to turn the ball past Sondre Rossbach in his desperation to do so.

Israel are level on points with joint leaders Portugal, whom they play on Monday in Petah Tikva. Nees's side's only defeat this campaign, a 3-0 reverse, came against the Portuguese on 10 October.
