Albania ended their UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign with an emphatic 3-0 home victory against Georgia in Tirana.
The result meant that Albania sealed third place in Group 10, finishing with ten points from their eight matches. Georgia, meanwhile, currently lie bottom of the section with five points, and travel to second-placed Russia on 10 October for their final qualifier.
The home side took the lead in the sixth minute, as midfield player Gyergj Muzaka opened the scoring. The visitors struggled to get back on level terms but fell further behind four minutes into the second period as Parid Xhihani made it 2-0, and the striker then completed the scoring five minutes from time as he added a third.
