Supersub shoots down Belarus

Belarus 2-3 Moldova Substitute Oleg Hromtov earns Moldova their first points in Group 5.

Moldova gained the first points of their UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying campaign as goals from Anatolie Doros (2) and substitute Oleg Hromtov earned them a 3-2 win in Belarus.

Doros double
After taking the lead through a Doros penalty on 27 minutes, it looked like the visitors had lost their way when Belarus replied with two goals before the break, Siarhei Karnilenka and Viachaslau Hleb scoring. However, Doros' second goal brought Moldova back level just before the hour and they clinched victory when Hromtov, a half-time replacement for Denis Calincov, made it 3-2 with 19 minutes remaining.
