Norway frustrated by Slovenia

Norway 0-0 Slovenia Slovenia went home the happier as this draw kept them second in Group 5.

Slovenia will have gone home the happier of the two sides after this goalless draw in Arasen. Norway dominated the match but struggled to penetrate a stubborn Slovenian rearguard and they remain a point behind their opponents in Group 5.

Møster denied
The home side improved in the second half and came closest when Tommy Eide Møster headed against the crossbar. "We dominated the game but we just couldn't get the all-important goal", said coach Hallvar Thoresen. Slovenia are second in the section with five points, fully seven points behind leaders Italy, but ahead in the likely race for the runners-up spot.
