Spain start in fine style

Albania 0-3 Spain The Spanish need a point at home to Slovakia on Tuesday night after moving to the top of Group 2 with victory in Albania.

Spain need a point at home to Slovakia on Tuesday night to reach the UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-offs after a comfortable Group 2 victory in Albania.

Giménez strikes twice
Albania drew their opener 0-0 in Slovakia but knew defeat would end their chances and fell behind on 40 minutes through David Silva. Sevilla FC striker Kepa Blanco added the second in the 57th minute and a quarter-hour from the end, Silva made it three. Slovakia must win in Alzira to deny their hosts a place in Friday's play-off draw.
