Trickovski chance
Norway's aspirations of booking a place in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship play-offs were ended by their 1-1 draw with holders the Netherlands on Friday. It meant all they and F.Y.R. Macedonia had to play for was third in the section, and at times it appeared neither side wanted the accolade. In a match starved of meaningful chances Elyounoussi was presented with a gilt-edged one five minutes after half-time but fired straight at the visiting goalkeeper. At the other end, Ivan Trickovski was sent clean through but blazed over the crossbar.
