Sergio Canales scored in each half as Spain proved too strong for Georgia in UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying for the second time in four days.
Emphatic 7-2 winners in their Group 5 opener, a match in which Canales was also on target, Luis Milla's team really threatened to hit the heights they had in Kutaisi last Thursday.
Yet Georgia could have been forgiven for fearing the worst when Canales, who earlier wasted a one-on-one situation with goalkeeper Giorgi Makaridze, converted a 17th-minute penalty following a foul by Tornike Tarkhnishvili on Iker Muniain.
The expected avalanche of goals never materialised despite second-half attempts by Oriol Romeu, Canales and Isco. The on-loan Valencia CF midfielder secured the points 11 minutes from time with a powerful shot from just outside the box.
