Following a comfortable win at FC Rossiyanka, 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam will meet Olympique Lyonnais – their opponents in the last two UEFA Women's Champions League finals – in this season's last four.

Already 2-0 up, an own goal from Tetyana Chorna and a Yuki Nagasato strike doubled the German champions' advantage in the minutes leading up to half-time. There were to be no slip-ups after the break, with the Japanese international striker on target again with 13 minutes to go.

Rossiyanka coach Farid Benstiti brought in Chorna and Olga Petrova to the starting XI, but the hosts failed to stamp their authority in midfield. Bianca Schmidt's header tested Elvira Todua early on, and the goalkeeper had to get down to deny Genoveva Añonma in a one-on-one.

Sofia Jakobsson had a shot blocked by Alyssa Naeher at the other end, but Potsdam took the lead five minutes before the break with Chorna heading into her own net from a corner. With Rossiyanka reeling, Bernd Schröder's team pressed their advantage, Nagasato hitting her first in added time.

That took a lot of the sting out of the tie but Potsdam continued to dominate. Antonia Göransson shot against the bar while Todua was called on to fend away efforts from Nagasato and Babett Peter, before the former pounced on a goalkeeping error to make it 3-0.

Potsdam now meet Lyon for a third season in succession; they beat them in the 2010 final but lost the rematch in last season's decider.
