Meet the quarter-finalists

  • Lyon beat Paris in the 2019/20 and 2015/16 semi-finals, and 2017 final – but Paris were the last team to knock Lyon out of this competition in the 2014/15 round of 16.
  • Three of Chelsea's four previous campaigns have been ended by Wolfsburg, who will be up against their former player Pernille Harder, who joined the Blues just after last season's final loss to Lyon.
  • Wolfsburg are the only other past winners involved, having been the last team other than Lyon to lift the trophy in 2013 and 2014.
  • Barcelona were runners-up in 2019.
  • Chelsea and Manchester City have each lost both their previous semi-finals (Chelsea to Wolfsburg and Lyon, City twice to OL)
  • Bayern and Rosengård have both been in one previous semi-final.
  • Paris are twice runners-up while Sparta's sole quarter-final was in 2005/06.

Draw procedure

  • The quarter-final draw was without seeding or country protection, with any restrictions announced ahead of the ceremony. In each case, the club drawn first plays the opening leg at home
  • For the semi-final draw, four balls were prepared: Winner of Quarter-final 1, Winner of Quarter-final 2, and so on. The draw was without restriction, following the same principles as the quarter-final draw
  • A final draw was made for administrative purposes between the Winner of Semi-final 1 and Winner of Semi-final 2
