Trondheim take the plaudits

SK Trondheims-Ørn have become the first Norwegian side to reach the last four of a UEFA competition as a 2-1 second-leg victory completed a 6-1 UEFA Women's Cup quarter-final win against Belarussian side FC Bobruichanka

Second-half goals
The Norwegian club had won the first leg in Belarus 4-0 but fell behind after 37 minutes today as Irina Kazejeva gave the visitors the lead. However, goals from Ann Iren Mørkved and Brit Sandaune on 56 and 90 minutes respectively sealed victory on the night for Trondheims-Ørn.

April date
Trondheims-Ørn will next face German opposition in the shape of 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam, taking them on over two legs in the semi-finals next April. The other last-four tie pits together Arsenal LFC against the Swedish champions Djurgården/Älvsjö.
