Norwegians recover from sending-off

SK Trondheims-Ørn 2-2 Fortuna Hjørring Trondheim fight back from 2-0 to draw the first leg in Norway.

Norway's SK Trondheims-Ørn came from two goals behind to draw their home UEFA Women's Cup quarter final first-leg tie against Danish competition debutants Fortuna Hjørring.

First-half setbacks
Trondheim, beaten at this stage last season by HJK Helsinki, suffered a miserable first half as defender Kristin Lie was sent off on 41 minutes for her second bookable offence, and almost immediately Christina Bonde put Hjørring ahead.

Home comeback
When 17-year-old Mariann Knudsen doubled the visitors' lead on 67 minutes, things looked even bleaker for the home side. But straight away Heidi Pedersen pulled one back, and with four minutes left Trine Rønning levelled the scores to give Trondheim hope of a semi-final place.

Second leg
Hjørring welcome Trondheim for the second leg on 28 November, with the winners progressing to meet either Arsenal LFC or CSK VVS Samara in the semi-final.
