Top tip

Don’t travel to the stadium on matchday if you don’t have a match ticket as all tickets to the Final have now sold out. Fans are strongly advised not to purchase tickets on the secondary market – only tickets purchased via the official uefa.com website will be guaranteed entry.

🚫 "No Street Drinking" zone

Olympic Way and the surrounding area will be a strict No Street Drinking Zone. Don’t bring any alcoholic drinks, as they’ll be confiscated. But don’t worry, there are plenty of bars, pubs, restaurants in the area to quench your thirst, not to mention the Wembley Fan Party exclusively for final ticket holders!

🎒 Bag policy

You can only enter the stadium with bags no bigger than A4, so it's best if you don't bring a bag at all if possible.

🚉 Getting to the stadium

There are plenty of reasons to get to the stadium early: Stadium gates open at 14:00, and the Wembley Fan Party is on from 11:00. Capacity of the Fan Party is limited, so show up early and beat the crowds!

Enhanced security checks will be in place, so getting into the stadium may take longer than usual. Leave plenty of time to pass through security and bag searches, scan your ticket, and find your seat.

Top tip

There are planned rail strikes on Saturday, the day before the Final. 

A good service will be operating on all public transport services to and from Wembley Stadium on matchday, including enhanced services on the London Underground from Wembley Park station.

However, trains are likely to be busier than usual, and some may be cancelled last minute. Please ensure you always check the National Rail and TfL websites before you start your journey to the stadium and leave plenty of time so you don’t miss a kick!

📌 Fare zones

Wembley is situated within zone 4 and fans can travel on all Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail and National Rail services in London using TfL’s touch and tap, pay-as-you-go service. The anytime pay-as-you-go daily cap for zones 1, 2, 3 and 4 is £11. The daily cap for bus and tram services only is £4.97.

Journey times will vary depending on your destination, but central London can be reached by tube or train in 30 minutes from stations close to Wembley Stadium.

Two London Underground stations are within a short walk of Wembley Stadium:

🚇 Jubilee line, Metropolitan line
🚶 Distance from the stadium: 10 minutes on foot

📍 Wembley Central station
🚇 Bakerloo line
🚶 Distance from the stadium: 20 minutes on foot

Services on the Bakerloo, Jubilee and Metropolitan lines run every few minutes.

🚆 By train

Wembley Stadium is served by two nearby rail stations:

📍 Wembley Stadium station is just one stop away from London Marylebone which offers train services to and from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and the Midlands. This station is approximately a five-minute walk to the stadium.

📍 Wembley Central station is served by the London Overground line running between Watford Junction and London Euston. Onwards connections are available to Clapham Junction, Richmond, Stratford and central London locations.

🚌 By bus

Wembley is well served by local buses, including the 18/N18, 83/N83, 92, 182, 206, 223, 297 and 483 which go across north-west London and to and from central London.

🚐 By coach

Wembley Stadium is accessible by coach via public coach services or with private group travel bookings.

All coach parking must be booked in advance.

Park + Ride for travel to Wembley Stadium is offered at the following stations:

🚕 By taxi

If you cannot travel by public transport, it is possible to get to Wembley Stadium by taxi although it is not recommended, especially during peak traffic times.

An event day taxi rank is located on Engineers Way (west of Olympic Way) for taxi drop-off and collection. In addition, ride share services and licensed cabs operate in the area.

🥤 Food and drinks

Top tip

Wembley is a cashless stadium so please bring credit cards, debit cards or mobile devices that allow contactless payment.

  • You might be asked for ID as alcohol can only be served in England to those over 18.
  • As part of the Challenge 25 scheme, you may be asked to prove your age even if you’re over 18 but look under 25 – take it as a compliment for looking youthful!
  • Keep in mind it is against the law to consume alcohol within the stadium bowl or within sight of the pitch. Alcohol-free beers are also not permitted within the stadium bowl. Olympic Way and the surrounding area will also be a strict No Street Drinking Zone.

Wembley will operate a strict no smoking policy. This includes the use of tobacco and vaping products across all areas of the stadium.

🛍️ Fan Shops

There will be several official Fan Shops outside and inside of the stadium, where you can stock up on all your favourite UEFA Women’s Euro gear such as t-shirts, player jerseys and individual match scarves. You will find the main shop at the top of the Olympic Steps.

💳 Payments should be made using VISA or other credit cards including contactless payments up to 100 GBP. No cash payments will be accepted.

2 shops on the outer concourse (including Click & Collect pick-up point at the shop at entrance D), open from 14:00.

1 shop on level B1 (this is the main shop and is located next to the ticket office, at the top of the Olympic Steps), open 10:00 - 21:00.
4 shops per level inside the stadium on levels 1, 2 and 5, open from 14:00.

Top tip

All the items you buy will be placed in an official UEFA Women’s EURO bag you will be allowed to take into the stadium. This won't affect your baggage allowance so you can still bring your A4-sized bag.

 

📱 Click and Collect

Skip the queues on matchday and order your gear using the brand-new click and collect option! Simply choose your favourite items on the Fan Shop Gameday Click & Collect website, pay online and pick up at the stadium.

Here's how it works:

1. Place an order on the click & collect website (orders close on 31 July at the start of the second half)
2. Get an email with your receipt and order details
3. Get the notification that your gear is ready
4. Pick up your goodies at the Collection Point at turnstile D on the outer concourse between 14:00 and one hour after final whistle

Please note any collection not made will be cancelled and a refund will be issued.

👀 Safety and security

Security is a team effort. To make Wembley safe for everyone, you may notice the security measures in place when you arrive. We’re screening everyone before they enter the stadium and carrying out bag searches.

As well as the security measures, we rely on you to be our extra eyes and ears. When you're on the way to the game and inside the stadium, be aware of your surroundings. Report anything that doesn't seem right to a steward. They'll know what to do and get it checked out. By doing this, you're doing your bit to keep everyone safe.

🛍️ Fan Shops

Is payment at the Fan Shops by card only?

Yes, you can make purchases with VISA or with other credit cards (contactless up to 100GBP). Payment by cash will not be possible.

Can I take what I’ve bought into the stadium with me?

Yes, your merchandise will be placed in an official UEFA Women’s EURO clear bag that you will be able to bring into the stadium and which won’t count towards your baggage allowance.

Can I return items that I’ve bought?

Yes, you can return unworn products, with all the tags still attached, online within 30 days. Simply follow the instruction on the Returns Portal.

Is the click & collect option available for all matches?

No, the click & collect option is only available for the opening match at Old Trafford and for the final at Wembley Stadium. At all the other matches, you’ll be able to visit the official Fan Shops and do all your shopping on the spot or online.

Where can I find the click & collect platform and start ordering?

Get ready to start your shopping as of 27 June at the Fan Shop Gameday Click & Collect platform for pick-up at the opening match or the final.

🏟️ Stadium

Can I bring food or drinks inside UEFA Women's EURO 2022 venues?

Food and drink cannot be brought into the stadium unless you have a valid medical reason to do so.

What if I have a ticket but can’t make it to the match?

Simply transfer your ticket to your friends or family via the UEFA Mobile Tickets app, so that they can be part of the biggest UEFA EURO Final in history.

Do babies need a match ticket?

Everyone will need a valid match ticket for entry, regardless of their age.

Do underage ticket holders need to be accompanied by an adult?

Ticket holders under the age of 16 can only enter with an accompanying adult, regardless of kick-off times.

Are there any restrictions on bringing in medical items into venues?

If you need to bring something for medical reasons that’s not permitted according to the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 stadium rules, you can apply for an exemption by submitting a form here.

Can I leave the stadium once I enter and then come back in?

Re-entry is not permitted. If you choose to leave the stadium, you won’t be allowed back in.

What if I’m late to the match, can I still enter after kick-off?

Don’t worry, you will still be able to enter the stadium if you’re late as long as it is safe to do so.

Can I use any entrance to enter the stadium and get to my seat?

Please only use the entrance specified on your ticket. If you arrive at a different entrance, you will be turned away and asked to find yours.

What if my bag is larger than A4 or I’m planning to bring another oversized item?

Please don’t bring any oversized items as you won’t be allowed to take them inside the stadium.

Can I bring a baby stroller into the stadium?

The restricted bag policy also applies to baby strollers, which can’t be taken inside the venue. This is for safety reasons, as larger items can block the rows and emergency exit routes.
