This season's UEFA European Women's Under-17 Championship will be played from 28 to 31 July 2011 at its regular home of the Colovray Stadium in Nyon.

For the last two seasons the competition has ended in June but the fourth edition of the tournament will now reach its conclusion at a later date. The semi-finals will be played on Thursday 28 July and three days later the final and third-place match will take place, as in its three previous years at the arena opposite UEFA's Swiss headquarters.

Spain will be hoping to defend the title they won last June, ending Germany's monopoly over the inaugural two seasons. Both Spain and Germany will be in the second qualifying round draw on 16 November; the full lineup will be decided when the first qualifying round ends on Thursday. The 16 teams will be drawn into four groups played in spring, the section winners progressing to the finals.
