Pederzoli drafted into Italy squad

Eleonora Pederzoli will arrive in Skopje on Wednesday afternoon to replace injured centre-back Roberta Filippozzi in Italy's UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship squad.

Eleonora Pederzoli has been called up as a replacement for injured defender Roberta Filippozzi in Italy's UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship squad.

Centre-back Filippozzi was ruled out for the rest of the final tournament after suffering a knee injury in the second half of the Azzurrine's 4-1 Group A defeat by Germany in Skopje on Monday. AFD Grifo Perugia midfielder Pederzoli, 17, will link up with the Italy squad ahead of Thursday's meeting with holders England.
