Women's U19s set for draw

The Women's Under-19 second qualifying draw takes place on Tuesday along with next season's first qualifying draw and the equivalent for the Women's U17s, all live on UEFA.com.

The pots for next month's UEFA European Women's Under-19 Championship second qualifying round draw, to be held in Nyon at 11.15CET on Tuesday, have been announced.

 

Austria, England, Russia, Switzerland and holders France are among the top seeds in Pot A, where they join a Germany side given a bye through the first qualifying round. These six teams will each be paired with a side from each of the other three pots when the draw is made in Nyon, Switzerland on 16 November.

The four teams in each group will decide on the host immediately after the draw, with the second qualifying round taking place from 31 March to 5 April 2011. The six group winners and the runner-up with the best record against the first and third-placed teams in their section will qualify for the finals in Italy from 30 May to 11 June 2011.

The 23 qualified teams were ranked according to the results of the first qualifying round.
