European quartet qualify for U-20 World Cup

Germany, Spain, Sweden and France are all through to the WU19 EURO semis and with it comes a place at the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Papua New Guinea.

Germany and Spain have completed Europe's contingent for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, after Sweden and France booked their places in Papua New Guinea on Saturday.

The semi-finalists at WU19 EUROs played in odd years earn a spot at the global competition and Sweden, France, Germany and Spain are the first four sides to qualify for the 2016 event.

The 16-team lineup will be completed over the next few months. Holders Germany and the United States have won three titles apiece, with North Korea the only other side to lift the trophy in 2006. The 2018 tournament takes place in France.
