The press conference will take place in Swindon, with proceedings getting under way at 14.00 local time. England will compete in the 16-team tournament for only the second time, having finished top, and unbeaten, in a qualifying group containing fancied France, the Netherlands, Hungary and Austria.

Japan first
England get their World Cup campaign under way against Japan in Shanghai on 11 September, and will also face Argentina and the holders and European champions Germany in Group A. All England’s matches are set to be broadcast on terrestrial television.
