Prašnikar takes charge of Mura

'Work hard'
"We will work hard," said Prašnikar, who was dismissed as Slovenia coach in May after a poor run of results that saw his team beaten by Croatia in the play-offs for UEFA EURO 2004™. "The main aim is to lead Mura into European competitions."

League success
The 51-year-old Prašnikar, who replaced Srecko Katanec as Slovenia coach after the 2002 FIFA World Cup, has also coached NK Olimpija Ljubljana, NK Rudar Velenje, NK Maribor and NK Smartno, leading both Maribor and Olimpija to the title and Maribor into the UEFA Champions League.

Olimpija appoint Bracun
In other managerial changes, Milivoj Bracun, 47, has replaced Sud Besirevic as coach of Olimpija, and the Croatian coach Ivan Matkovic returns to Slovenia as coach of NK Publikum.

Title ambitions
Olimpija finished second last season, just one point behind champions NK Gorica, and the former NK Koper and NK Zagreb coach has set on his sights on taking the four-times Slovenian champions back to the top.

'Great club'
"Olimpija is a great club with tradition, so I am glad to be here," Burcan said. "We have to form a young team and bring the title back to Ljubljana."

Fan focus
Matkovic, 51, has coached previously in Slovenia with NK Primorje and is relishing returning to the country. "I have some experience and I will try to help Publikum," Matkovic said. "The main aim is to bring back the fans. You can not do anything without fans in football."
