Greek international Georgios Karagounis has been ruled out of SL Benfica's UEFA Champions League encounter with Celtic FC because of a calf injury.

Aggravated injury
Karagounis strained his right calf during Greece's 4-0 UEFA EURO 2008™ victory in Bosnia-Herzegovina on Wednesday, limping off after 36 minutes. The 29-year-old midfielder had also been substituted towards the end of his country's win against Norway four days earlier. "He is not fit to play," said coach Fernando Santos.
