Article body
Arsenal FC defender Kolo Touré believes he may spend the rest of his career with last season's UEFA Champions League runners-up after signing a new long-term contract.
'Fantastic' experience
The exact length of Touré's new deal has not been disclosed but the 25-year-old has said that he intends to stay with the London side for the long haul. "I can see myself staying here for the rest of my career," he said. "Why would I want to leave? I love my football here, my family is settled here and the club is ambitious. It is fantastic."
Semi-final goalscorer
The Ivorian international signed for Arsenal in 2002 and has become a mainstay in the club's defence, making 204 appearances and scoring a number of important goals, including the only one of last season's UEFA Champions League semi-final against Villarreal CF. Touré follows in the footsteps of Cesc Fabregas, who put pen to paper on an eight-year deal only last week, and captain Thierry Henry, who signed a four-year deal in the summer.
