Dream move for Léo Lima

Brazilian midfield player Léo Lima said it was "a dream" to play for FC Porto after joining from CS Marítimo.

'Prove my worth'
Léo Lima, who turns 23 on Friday, trained with his new team-mates this morning ahead of a press conference at the club's training ground where the deal was confirmed. He said he had not thought twice when told of Porto's interest in signing him. "I accepted immediately," he told reporters. "It's a dream for any player to play for Porto. Now I just want to prove my worth."

No fee disclosed
Porto have not disclosed the fee involved but they did not rule out the possibility of loaning some players to Marítimo. The Madeira-based side bought Léo Lima from CR Vasco da Gama before the 2003/04 season, after the player had completed a loan spell at Bulgarian team PFC CSKA Sofia. He made eleven appearances last term but this season has played 14 times, scoring twice. He becomes Porto's second winter signing following the arrival of Brazilian full-back Leandro.
