Jensen deal signals Bremen intent

Danish international Daniel Jensen has joined German champions SV Werder Bremen on a four-year contract.

Danish international Daniel Jensen has completed a move to German champions SV Werder Bremen.

Four-year contract
The 25-year-old midfield player was due to join Bremen at their training camp in Switzerland today. Jensen, who made three appearances for Denmark at UEFA EURO 2004™, has agreed a four-year-contract.

Allofs happy
Bremen manager Klaus Allofs confirmed that the club would pay an undisclosed fee to Real Murcia CF for the player's services. "We are happy to have another young international in our ranks," he said. Jensen, who played for Dutch side SC Heerenveen from 1998-2003 before joining Murcia, passed a medical on Sunday. Bremen begin the 2004/05 Champions League in the group stage.
