Di Vaio adds to Italian connection

Italy forward Marco Di Vaio has followed compatriots Bernardo Corradi and Stefano Fiore to Valencia CF.
UEFA Cup holders Valencia CF have signed Italian international forward Marco Di Vaio from Juventus FC.

Italian signings
The 28-year-old will link up with compatriots Stefano Fiore and Bernardo Corradi, who joined the Spanish champions earlier this summer from S.S. Lazio. Valencia coach Claudio Ranieri is also Italian, and will lead the club into the 2004/05 UEFA Champions League from the group stage this autumn.

Five-year contract
Di Vaio, who appeared as a substitute against Bulgaria for just seven minutes at UEFA EURO 2004™, has agreed a five-year contract at the Mestalla. The transfer fee remains undisclosed. Di Vaio made his name with Salernitana Sport and Parma AC before spells at Lazio and, from 2002, Juventus. He has been capped 12 times by the Azzurri.
