Eintracht Frankfurt's Christoph Preuss will join Bayer 04 Leverkusen in July for €2.2m.
Eintracht Frankfurt midfield player Christoph Preuss will join double-chasing Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the summer for a fee in the region of €2.2m.
The 20-year old German Under-21 international will sign for the current 1. Bundesliga leaders and UEFA Champions League semi-finalists on 1 July after an impressive season at the Waldstadion. He has signed a two-year deal with an option for a further one.
A 1997 signing from TSV Grossen-Linden, Preuss took a while to establish himself at Eintracht after initially being fielded in the club's amateur side. However, he became a first-team regular after being handed his chance by coach Felix Magath and Preuss will hope to similarly impress Klaus Toppmöller at the BayArena.
