Inzaghi injured as Serginho signs on

Serginho has signed a contract extension with AC Milan but Filippo Inzaghi is injured again.
AC Milan's Brazilian winger Serginho has signed a contract extension keeping him at the San Siro until June 2007. Serginho has added two years to his existing deal with the Italian champions.

Infrequent appearances
The 33-year-old left-sided player is in his sixth season with Milan, having previously played for CR Flamengo and São Paulo FC. He has been limited to seven Serie A appearances this term - all as substitute - yet scored in Milan's 3-2 victory against Udinese Calcio in their Coppa Italian quarter-final first leg on Wednesday night.

Inzaghi injured
Striker Filippo Inzaghi also played in the game at the San Siro, returning from two months on the sidelines with an ankle injury. However, the Italian international broke a bone in his right hand and now faces a two-week lay-off.
