Lille look to Swiss signings

Ligue 1 runners-up LOSC Lille Métropole have signed Swiss duo Daniel Gygax and Stephan Lichtsteiner.
LOSC Lille Métropole have shown their intent ahead of their UEFA Champions League return by signing Swiss duo Daniel Gygax and Stephan Lichtsteiner for undisclosed fees.

Gygax switch
International midfield playmaker Gygax, 24, was in the Swiss squad at UEFA EURO 2004™ and joins the Ligue 1 runners-up from Swiss Cup winners FC Zürich, where he was a youth product. He has signed a three-year contract.

Lichtsteiner deal
Under-21 international right-back Lichtsteiner leaves Zürich's local rivals, Grasshopper-Club. His deal runs until summer 2009 with Lille, who will enter next season's Champions League in the group stage.
