Ezquerro in contention
The 34-year-old limped off early in Friday's 1-0 home win against Villarreal CF and tests have confirmed he will miss the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg with muscle damage to his left leg. However, Barcelona's doctors expect Larsson to be fit for the return on 26 April. There was more positive news, however, for Santiago Ezquerro who also picked up a knock in the same game. Despite a bruised right knee, the forward should be fit for contention tomorrow night, when Ronaldinho and Thiago Motta will also be back for Frank Rijkaard's men.
