The 29-year-old Sweden midfielder, who played all four of his country's games at the 2006 FIFA World Cup, is struggling to be fit for the start of his ninth Premiership campaign on 19 August. He will certainly miss the first leg in Europe on 8/9 August, with the return scheduled for a fortnight later.
