An ankle sprain may see Mathieu Bodmer miss the first leg of LOSC Lille Métropole's UEFA Champions League tie against Manchester United FC.

Top scorer
The 24-year-old, Lille's top scorer this season with eight goals, suffered the injury during the 0-0 draw at home against FC Nantes Atlantique on Saturday. The playmaker now faces a race against time to be fit to face the travelling Premiership side on 20 February. "He will be rested for the next league game at Toulouse FC [on 10 February]," said coach Claude Puel. "A further decision will be made depending on his recovery, regarding our next two important games [at home against Olympique Lyonnais and then against United]."
