Marlet was capped 23 times by Les Bleus, with three of his six international goals coming at Saint-Denis' Stade de France. He was in the squad at UEFA EURO 2004, where France reached the quarter-finals, and lifted the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2001 and 2003.
