Week in Switzerland
After playing Poland, coach Otto Rehhagel and his players are expected to spend a week training in Switzerland, before travelling to Portugal, where their first match is the tournament's opening game against the host country in Porto on 12 June.
Other friendlies
Greece have three other friendlies planned before then, all against other EURO 2004™ finalists, starting with the visit of Bulgaria to Athens on 18 February. On 31 March, they will meet Switzerland in Heraklion, a match which will inaugurate the new Pankritio stadium, a venue for the Olympic Games football tournament. On 28 April, they visit Eindhoven to play the Netherlands.
