UEFA Cup contenders S.S. Lazio have signed nine new players just ahead of the closing the transfer window, with Sebastiano Siviglia, Anthony Seric, Tommaso Rocchi, Antonio and Emanuele Filippini, and South American quartet Esteban González, Leonardo Talamonti, Miguel Ángel Mea and Bryan Robert all arriving at the Serie A club.
Defensive duo
Experienced defender Siviglia and Croatian international left-back Seric both join Domenico Caso's side on loan from Parma FC. Siviglia, 31, spent last season on loan at US Lecce, while Sydney-born Seric was a non-playing member of the Croatia squad at both the 1998 and 2002 FIFA World Cup finals.
Filippini twins
The 31-year-old Filippini twins helped US Città di Palermo to the Serie B title last season after a long career with Brescia Calcio, and have joined Lazio on a one-season loan. Striker Rocchi, 26, moved from relegated Empoli FC while midfield players González, 26, and Robert, 20 come from Argentinian side

Defender Talamonti, 23, moves from CA Rosario Central and midfield player Mea, also 23, leaves Venezuelan side Caracas FC. Lazio will play FC Metalurh Donetsk in the UEFA Cup first round, with the first leg in Ukraine on 16 September and the home return a fortnight later.
