Real Sociedad recorded the biggest away win – and equalled the heaviest margin of victory anywhere – in UEFA Europa League history with their 6-0 defeat of Vardar on Thursday.
Only four teams have ever prevailed by a six-goal margin, Lyon the most recent to do so when they ran out 7-1 victors over AZ Alkmaar in last season's round of 32 second leg.
