Newcastle United FC have been given the all-clear to register French midfielder Charles N'Zogbia after a reaching an agreement with his former club Le Havre AC.

Immediate effect
The 18-year-old can resume playing with immediate effect, following a decision reached by FIFA today, according to the English club’s official website. The club added: "Le Havre are entitled to training compensation from Newcastle United in accordance with the figures set out in FIFA's regulations for the status and transfers of players."

Summer switch
N'Zogbia moved to England in the summer on a free transfer before Le Havre initiated their claim for compensation. The talented teenager has only made one appearance for the club to date, appearing in the last minute of the Premiership fixture against Birmingham City FC in September.
