Youth policy
Marseille have yet to release contract details for the France Under-21 player, who has made 12 league appearances this season in Ligue 1 – although only two of those were starts – and has scored once. Grandin was not involved as Marseille beat Caen 6-1 at the Stade Vélodrome on Saturday. "He is a player in the line of our policy to give youngsters a chance, much like we did with [Mathieu] Valbuena and others such as [Charles] Kaboré," said Les Olympiens president Pape Diouf. Marseille will play FC Spartak Moskva on 13 and 21 February in the UEFA Cup Round of 32.
