Fenerbahçe SK's Group A destiny is in their own hands as they welcome eliminated Celtic FC looking to confirm their place in the UEFA Europa League round of 32.

• Fenerbahçe have head-to-head advantage over third-ranked AFC Ajax so will progress if they draw or the Dutch team do not beat Molde FK; Celtic are resigned to elimination.

Previous meetings
• The sides drew 2-2 in Glasgow when they met for the first time in UEFA competition on matchday two, Celtic's first encounter with Turkish opponents.

• In their only previous games against Scottish teams, Fenerbahçe eliminated Celtic's Glasgow rivals Rangers FC 2-1 on aggregate in the 2001/02 UEFA Champions League third qualifying round.

Form guide
• Fenerbahçe have not conceded in three Group A games since their last meeting with Celtic.

• Celtic have lost their last three European matches and have conceded at least twice in all five of their Group A games. They are without a win in four European away games (D2 L2) and ten UEFA Europa League fixtures (D4 L6).

• Semi-finalists in 2012/13, Fenerbahçe have made it through to the round of 32 in all three of their UEFA Cup and UEFA Europa League group stage campaigns (2006/07, 2009/10 and 2012/13).

• Celtic progressed to the round of 32 for the first time last season; their failure to emulate that achievement this season means they have missed the cut in three of their four UEFA Cup/UEFA Europa League campaigns.
