Via Domestic Champions path: Ajax, Altınordu, Maccabi Haifa, Midtjylland, Roma, Rosenborg, Salzburg, Viitorul
UEFA Champions League path runners-up: Atlético Madrid, Basel, Benfica, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, København, Manchester City, Monaco

  • The eight Domestic Champions path survivors will be drawn at home in the play-offs against the eight UEFA Champions League path runners-up.
  • Play-off draw: 12 December
  • Matches: 7/8 February

Through to round of 16 as group winners: Barcelona, CSKA Moskva, Dynamo Kyiv, Paris Saint-Germain, Porto, PSV Eindhoven, Real Madrid, Sevilla

  • The eight UEFA Champions League path group winners are drawn against the eight play-off winners in the round of 16.
  • Knockout draw: 13 February
  • Matches: 21/22 February
