Madrid, Barcelona and CSKA reach last eight

Real Madrid recovered from two down away to Monaco to reach the quarter-finals, with CSKA Moskva – courtesy of a late penalty – and Barcelona also through.

Monaco 3-4 Real Madrid (Cardona 24pen, Mbae 33, Bongiovanni 90+4; Peeters 57 90, Sergio Díaz 67pen, Dani Gómez 71)
The hosts went two in front through Ivan Cardona's spot kick and Safwan Mbae's close-range finish, but Mink Peeters halved Madrid's arrears just before the hour. Sergio Díaz drew the visitors level, then Dani Gómez quickly completed the turnaround. Peeters subsequently added his second and Madrid's fourth despite Franchu's dismissal, with Adrien Bongiovanni's late riposte a mere consolation.

Barcelona 4-1 Borussia Dortmund (Carles Pérez 41, Ruiz 51, Seungwoo Lee 62, Mboula 68; Wanner 6)
Barcelona enjoyed a relatively trouble-free evening once they had recovered from the shock of Dominik Wanner's early opener, eventually cantering to victory.

CSKA Moskva 2-1 Rosenborg (Zhamaletdinov 29, Pukhov 89pen; Vinje 36pen)
Timur Pukhov's late penalty was decisive in securing CSKA a quarter-final date with Benfica. The midfielder converted after Rosenborg keeper Julian Faye Lund fouled substitute Dmitrii Merenchukov. Earlier, Timur Zhamaletdinov's goal was his 13th in the UEFA Youth League, putting him joint second on the all-time list.
