Bonde holds Danish squad together

Denmark coach Peter Bonde has named an unchanged squad for next week's FIFA Women's World Cup Group 3 qualifying match at home against Poland.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." Denmark coach Peter Bonde seems to have taken the old adage to heart in his squad selection for the forthcoming FIFA Women's World Cup qualifier against Poland on 7 May, naming an unchanged party of 18 players following last week's emphatic 5-0 win against Spain.

'Good energy'
"There is a really good energy in the squad right now, and the combination of attacking and defensive players, old and young, is really good, so there is no reason to make changes at the moment" he said.

Away win
"Furthermore, we are not going to change our way of playing against Poland considerably, compared to the game against Spain. Poland are not as good as Spain, but they have a couple of good forwards," added Bonde. Denmark won the teams' first meeting 5-1 in Poland and are expected to produce a similar result again.
