DB Mobility Service Centre

Onboard DB trains and at train stations

Trains are generally accessible for fans with limited mobility; carriage doors are wide enough to fit wheelchairs and trains are equipped with dedicated wheelchair spaces.

  • You can pre-book your wheelchair space in advance for long-distance trains such as ICE, IC and EC services.
  • Equipment such as walking aids can be carried free of charge.
  • At larger train stations, you can request a wheelchair should you require it.

By plane 🛬

If you require additional assistance, make sure you inform your airline in advance with the kind of assistance you need. Visit the dedicated mobility and accessibility page on the Frankfurt Airport website for information on services available on arrivals and departures. It is best to do this at least 48 hours before you start your journey to allow plenty of time for arrangements to be made.

By car 🚘

Most of Frankfurt’s car parks have accessible parking spaces. If you’re looking to get as close to the Fan Zone as possible, opt for the Dom/Römer and Am Theater car parks.

Please see below for accessible stadium parking information.

💡 Good to know

Much of Frankfurt’s city centre has cobblestone streets, including tourist attractions like the area around the Römer. Most museums are fully accessible for wheelchair users.

🎉 Fan Zone & Public Viewing accessibility

Most transport hubs around the Fan Zone are fully accessible so fans with reduced mobility should be able to reach the location with ease. Please note some areas of the Fan Zone itself may not be within reach without the help of an accompanying person.
