Morten Olsen's side secured a deserved victory ahead of their FIFA World Cup campaign in South Africa.
Denmark dominated from the start and, after two attempts from Thomas Kahlenberg, midfield colleague Christian Poulsen gave his side a merited lead on 27 minutes with a close-range finish from a corner.
The visitors came into the game after half-time but were unable to breach the hosts' defence. Indeed, Denmark continued to threaten, going close through Dennis Rommedahl, Michael Krohn-Dehli and Jon Dahl Tomasson before finally doubling their advantage and sealing the win with Thomas Enevoldsen's low shot in the second minute of added time.
"I am content with our performance," said Olsen, whose side have further warm-up fixtures planned against Austria on 1 June and World Cup hosts South Africa four days later. "We controlled the match for the vast majority of the time, we did not give many opportunities away, and we produced quite a number of chances ourselves, so we might have won by more." Denmark are in World Cup Group E alongside the Netherlands, Cameroon and Japan.
