Zlatan Ibrahimović scored a hat-trick as Sweden won 4-2 against Norway, while Switzerland beat Brazil on a busy night of international friendly action.
Ibrahimović, who also struck two in his last outing for Sweden – a 2-0 win against the Faroe Islands in June – went one better this time around. The Paris Saint-Germain FC striker got his country's first three goals, Stefan Johansen and Mohammed Abdellaoue on the mark for Norway, with veteran midfielder Anders Svensson completing the scoring for Erik Hamrén's side.
One of the night's other eye-catching results came in Basel, where Switzerland won 1-0 against FIFA World Cup hosts Brazil. Ottmar Hitzfeld's team, currently top of their qualifying section for next summer's tournament, prevailed courtesy of a Daniel Alves own goal just after half-time.
