Hareide's perfect start

Norway 3-1 Honduras Norway's coach Åge Hareide saw his win the Chinese New Year tournament.

Norway 3-1 Honduras

Few problems
The Norwegians were a little lethargic after their 3-0 win against Sweden on Thursday, but had few problems overcoming a Honduras side that lacked a significant cutting edge.

Brattbakk opener
Rosenborg BK striker Harald Brattbakk, voted the best player of the tournament, opened the scoring after 27 minutes with a crisp shot from 14 metres. Saul Martínez levelled three minutes later but another Rosenborg player, Frode Johnsen, made it 2-1 in the 39th minute with a headed goal from a corner.

Hoset pounces
Honduras briefly threatened in the second half, but Norway made the game safe a few minutes before the final whistle when Molde FK playmaker Magne Hoset pounced to score after a mistake in the Honduras defence.

Final game
Norway will play the final game of their Asian tour against Singapore on Wednesday. Their first international under Hareide which will also include foreign-based stars will be against Northern Ireland in Belfast on 18 February.
